During 2019 Ms. Richter decided to go on an adventure and live in Asia for four months and volunteer with 17 strangers to help nonprofits that save women and children from sex trafficking in Vietnam, Thailand, Japan & Singapore. It was an amazing life changing experience. They did manual labor on the land, bought the children clothes and even cooked food and played with the children.

Tara spent two months living in Chiang Mai, Thailand. While there she also helped at the Elephant freedom project that saves elephants from the cruelty of labor logging and tourists areas that exploit them. The project supports the local community by buying elephant food from nearby farmers and employing people from the local village.
